Supporters of Kulman Ghising staged a demonstration at Maitighar on Sunday, demanding the government to re-appoint Ghising as the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority for another tenure. A group of youths with national flags chanted slogans against the government as the re-appointment of Kulman was delayed.

The youths have drawn the attention of the government to decide in favour of Kulman by lighting the candle. The Ministry of Energy has not sent a proposal to re-appoint Kulman in the cabinet meeting.
