Police have arrested a rape accused after nine months of abscond. 17-year-old Mohammad Ansad Miya of Surunga Municipality-5, Kusaha, Saptari, was arrested on a charge of raping a 18-year-old girl.  According to the police inspector Ramraja Kesari of Area Police Office, Kadarbona, Miya have been hiding in his maternal uncle’s house fin Dhangadhimai, Siraha, from past nine months. The victim had lodged a complaint of rape at the Area Police Office on December 28, 2019, accusing Miya had raped by luring her to marriage.
