Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Punarbas Municipal Committee has condemned the attack by police on its district cadre of ANNFSU Tek Bahadur Thapa and the locals. Some people, including Thapa, who had gone to the police office to rescue the arrested locals, were beaten inside the police office. Thapa was injured by the beating by the police.

It is said that police beat Thapa and others after a stone was pelted inside the police station by locals while they were inside the police office. The NCP Municipal Committee issued a press release demanding to make public the CCTV footage of Area Police Office to show the reality of the incident.
