Police on Saturday arrested 38-year-old Uttar Rai aka Balikhe of Barahachhetra Municipality-1 in Sunsari on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The incident became public after the victim complained of stomach ache. During a check-up at the hospital, it was found that the girl was 8-weeks pregnant. She revealed to her family that Balikhe raped her repeatedly by threatening to kill her mother. Police are further investigating the incident.
