Tractor businessmen of Chandrapur Municipality picketed the municipal building on Sunday, demanding the permission of transporting river minerals. More than 50/60 tractors were parked in-front of the municipality office from 10 am gate as a part of protest.
Businessmen have been agitating after the movement of river materials were banned during the rainy season. The Chandrapur Municipality has not been able to mine the river materials as the bid was not opened on time. The municipality had previously noticed to open the rivers of its area for mining from September 17. Later on, the municipality was failed to manage the notice. .
