65-year-old Man Maya Bhandari of Gauradaha Municipality-1 was found dead on Monday at her own house. The woman's hands were tied and the body was found under the bed.
According to DSP Rakesh Thapa of District Police Office Jhapa, police are investigating the incident but it is unclear who murdered her and why.

Domestic Killing Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, 64, of Gauradaha Municipality-1 on October 2 on the charge of murdering his 65-year-old wife Manamaya Bhandari.
According to DSP Rakesh Thapa of the District Police Office, the victim was killed on September 28 during a domestic dispute.
DSP Thapa informed that the accused tied his wife’s hands and killed her with a sharp weapon.
According to DSP Thapa, the accused had killed his wife on September 29 and went to the market. Later, he informed his neighbours that his wife was found dead.
The police had initially investigated with people outside the family and when the killer was not found, the investigation was carried out inside the family.
The postmortem of the body has been done at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan (Ghopa) on September 28.
