Youths have staged a peaceful demonstration in Biratnagar demanding to secure life of Dr. Govinda KC. A group of youths on the banner of  ‘Jagau Biratnagar Abhiyan’ organized a protest rally on Wednesday demanding security of  KC’s life.  The rally started from Sansarimai Temple had marched different parts of Biratnagar and ended up in same place.  The youths also demanded the death penalty for the accused who killed  Samjhana BK after rape.

Dr KC started the hunger strike from Jumla from September 14, demanding fulfilment of his past demands.
