Relatives of 47-year-old Laxmi Kumari Lakhaju of Tyamasiha in Bhaktapur Municipality-7 have accused Iwamura Hospital in Salaghari, Bhaktapur of the negligence in the treatment of her throat.

The relatives of the patient have staged a sit-in at the hospital saying that the patient went to the ventilator due to the negligence of the doctor in the patient's treatment. 

The patient's brother Vijesh Lakhaju said that her health condition deteriorated due to the negligence of the doctor while she was undergoing endoscopy on September 25.

The relatives said that the patient is undergoing treatment on the ventilator of Norvic Hospital for further treatment after her health condition deteriorated. The relatives of the victim have staged a sit-in demanding free treatment of the patient.
