A complaint has been against Asghar Ansari, 23, of Bariyarpatti rural municipality-2 at the Area Police Office, Maheshpur Patar on October 2 on the charge of raping a 20-year-old woman.

It is mentioned in the complaint filed by the victim that the accused raped the victim on September 26.

DSP Shaligram Sharma Poudel of the District Police Office said that search was on for the accused as he was absconding.

The victim has been examined at the District Hospital, Siraha on October 2.
