Kaski Police in coordination with Sarlahi Police Office has arrested a 21-year-old resident of Sarlahi district for threatening and raping his own niece, a 14-year-old girl. On December 18, 2019, the man threatened and raped his own niece when there was no one was at home in Pokhara. He was arrested from Sarlahi on Sunday (4th October, 2020) on the basis of a complaint that she had given birth to his son on September 14, 2020.

The complaint is registered against the man for the incestuous rape and the district court has extended the remand by five days for further research in the case.
