A 32-year-old woman of Jugal village in Sindhupalchowk who had come to shop at Jalbire Bazaar has been gang-raped by four drunk men on the night of October 1. While she was returning home, the men who came on the motorcycle offered a lift to her and raped her inside the Bolero at a place called Majne above Katike.

The identities of two of the four people involved in the incident have been revealed. The two identified are the locals. According to the police, a search is underway for them. The victim is a married woman with children and now is mentally disturbed and under the police protection
