Youths have staged a sit-in in Jaleshwor of Mahottari district in support of Dr Govinda KC, who is on hunger strike demanding medical education reform in the leadership of Bajrang Nepali, a central member of the Nepali Congress Information, Communication and Publicity Department, at Buddhijivi Chowk in Jaleshwor on Tuesday afternoon, October 6.
They had peacefully staged a sit-in protest to show support and solidarity with Dr KC in the middle of the road against the irresponsibility of the federal government and for ignoring KC’s demand even though it was justified. They carried placards with slogans such as anti-civil affairs, antigovernmental morality, stop the dominance of medical mafia s and support the demands of Dr KC.
Among the protestors, there was the presence of Muncipicial President of NC- Mahottari, District President of Traun Dal, Regional President, Former President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Municipal President of NSU and many other leaders.
