A real estate agent has been beaten to death in Bhaktapur district on Wednesday evening.
“A real estate agent was beaten to death by two clients at Changunarayan Municipality,” confirmed Superintendent of Police Tara Devi Thapa, who is the chief of Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur.
The deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Chandra Kumar Yonjan, according to police. Yonjan died in the course of treatment at Green City Hospital in Kathmandu.
“Police are investigating the case. The two clients of Yonjan are absconding, and police are searching for the culprits,” said Thapa, adding that further information about the case will be disclosed in the evening.
