35-year-old wife Rupa Budha Magar of Shubhakalika Rural Municiplaity-1 lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her 43-year-old husband Bir Bahadur Budha Magar at the District Police Office, Kalikot on October 9. The police from the district headquarters arrested him on October 10.  

The accused husband under the influence of excessive alcohol hit the victim with a pressure cooker that broke her right leg and seriously injured her chest. The victim was rushed to Nepalgunj hospital on October 10 after the treatment was not possible in the District hospital in Kalikot.
