Police, on October 9, arrested 35-year-old Padma Bahadur Khadayat of Alital Rural Municipality-5  on a charge of attempting to rape a 23-year-old woman.

The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Alital Police Post on October 9, alleging that the accused had attempted to rape the victim on October 9. 

According to DSP Mahendra Nepal of the District Police Office, the accused had given verbal information to the police post at Alital on the night of October 9 and the police team arrested the accused.
