The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and the Joint Struggle Committee (JSC) staged a demonstration in front of the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Tuesday, October 13 demanding implementation of the Working Journalists Act and making the name of the media house public that does not follow the law.
They demanded legal action against those media houses that do not follow the law by blocking government advertisements and not allowing them to travel abroad. They also questioned the government for implementing the Working Journalists Act.
