Given the risk of corona infection, a prohibitory order was issued by the District Administration Office Morang from October 19 to October 31st (till 12 am) on Sunday, October 18 under the Local Administration Act 2028 and Infectious Diseases Act 2020 targeting the upcoming festival Dashain.
It has also ordered not to perform daily worship in monasteries, temples, mosques and churches in the district and there will also be the prohibition of collective religious works such as worship, chanting hymns, chariot procession, pot procession, sacrificial worship and idol immersion.
The program of exchanging good wishes and having tea on the occasion of the festival was also banned. Similarly, the administration has also banned the holding of collective programs such as foundation stone laying, inauguration, training, assembly and conference. Apart from the highway, the administration has also banned traffic from 8 am to 5 pm.
