25-year-old Bimala Devi Sah Teli of Musahar Tole of Sabaila Municipality-1 lodged a complaint against 20-year-old Ranjit Sah and 55-year-old Rasodevi Sah at the District Police Office on October 29 stating that they assaulted her alleging her of practising witchcraft.
Police instructed to take action against the accused by registering the original file of the complaint lodged by the victim at the District Police Office on October 28 at the Area Police Office.
According to Inspector Ram Kumar Yadav of the Area Police Office, the accused Ranjit Kumar Sah was arrested by the Area Police Office on October 28. The victim was injured in the beating and is undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur. The victim urged the INSEC representative to take initiative for justice.
