The Human Trafficking Bureau of Police arrested a man, Chandra Bahadur Adhikari, a resident of Bensishahar in Lamjung on the charge of raping an old woman by taking her to India as a medical assistant under the pretext of taking care of his ill wife. Earlier, he was keeping the old woman as a domestic worker in his temporary residence in Chandragiri Municipality-5 in Kathmandu. The man was arrested on October 31 from Chitwan. 

The incident took place last year. He was absconding after he sexually abused and raped the woman in Kolkata, India. According to the bureau, further investigation is underway.
