Expressing dissatisfaction with the administration, 16 doctors of the emergency department of Bir Hospital resigned on November 4. They alleged the administration for lowering their morale by threatening them to work 96 hours a week instead of encouraging them amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. Similarly, in the resignation letter, it is also mentioned that the hospital did not pay the Dashain allowance and even paid less than the actual salaries.
