Syangja police arrested 27-year-old Khem Bahadur Nepali of Gahate, Arjun Chaupari of Syangja on the charge of attempted rape on a woman on November 10.  He is accused of trying to rape a young woman by forcibly opening the door of her room while she was sleeping. 

According to the police, they arrested the Nepali while he was hiding in the house on the same day on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim. 

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, DSP Rajendra Prasad Adhikari said that the case is being investigated.
