Locals protested against the former Minister for Physical Planning and Infrastructure, Raghuvir Mahaseth, by waving a black flag at Mithila in Dhanusha alleging irregularities in the bridge under construction at Sundari Khola in Mithila Municipality-11 of Dhanusha.

They further accused former minister Mahaseth of discriminating against them despite repeatedly drawing his attention to the construction of the bridge. They protested saying that Mahaseth brought the plan in a place where there were only 20 households. 

Meanwhile, former minister Mahaseth has claimed that the construction of the bridge will be done according to the people's wishes. However, locals are not convinced by Mahaseth's assurance.
