Police arrested Deepak Pariyar, 32, of Bhuktangle in Modi Rural Municipality-1, Parbat, on November 22,  on the charge of raping a 19-year-old girl on November 17.

Police have arrested the accused for investigation after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on November 21, alleging that the accused had raped the girl on November 17.

Manish Thapa, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Parbat, informed the INSEC representative over the phone about the incidence.
