6-year-old child murdered in Bardibas

Six-year-old Gulab Sah Khatun of Bardibas-14 was found dead near her house on the night of November 23. Khatun had gone missing since Sunday evening.
A local shopkeeper, Arun Kumar Sah, of Gaushala-5, who runs a grocery shop in Bardibas confessed to killing her while under the influence of alcohol. Locals suspected she was raped before the murder. However, the police shared that investigation is underway to find out if she was raped.
The Post Mortem examination result will disclose further details.
