Accused of rape arrested in Bardiya

Police arrested a 44-year-old man on November 24 on the charge of raping a 41-year-old woman.
According to Inspector Birendra Singh Thapa of the Area Police Office, Motipur, the victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Motipur on November 24 stating that Thapa raped her on November 21.
The victim has been examined at Bardiya Hospital on November 25.
