Locals of Belahiya village of Rupandehi  blocked the road in Belahiya on November 29 to protest against the delay in the construction of 750-meter road which was not completed even in seven years. They warned to shut down all government offices including the Bhairahawa customs office in Belahiya.

Meanwhile, engineer Shubhechcha Saru of Butwal Belahiya Trade Route Construction Project said that the work has not started even though the construction entrepreneurs have promised to start road construction after Chhath and informed that she has written to Biruwa Construction again to start the work.
