They have been beating her after the division of ancestral property. They did not even give food to her, she stated.

Rights activists and journalists reached her home after she expressed her grief where the daughter-in-law denied the accusations. Daughter-in-law responded that they did not make her citizenship due to the fear that the mother would give all property to her daughter.
