A team from the Area Police Office, Haripur arrested an Indian national from Sarlahi on the charge of raping his daughter. He was staying at his in-laws' house in Haripur Municipality-6. He allegedly raped his daughter repeatedly. Police arrested the accused on the basis of a complaint lodged by his wife.

The arrested man was working in a brick factory with his wife, two sons and a daughter. About a month ago, he took his daughter out of the house at night and raped her. He again raped her on November 27.
