Entrepreneurs of Thamel staged a protest on December 2 demanding to open night businesses stating the financial problems that have emerged as the business has been closed for eight months due to the COVID-19.
Chairman of Thamel Tourism Development Council, Prakash Singh Rana, said that they would starve to death if they could not run their businesses. Businessmen say that they have protested as there was no hearing even when the memorandum was submitted to the concerned body.
