Police have arrested Tilak Ram Chaudhary in Gadhwa Rural Municipality-5 of Dang Deukhuri on the charge of beating his sister-in-law accusing her of being witch on November 30 after consuming alcohol. He was arrested on the basis of complaint lodged by the victim.

According to the victim, Tilak has been calling her a witch for the past four years and she has endured till today considering him as her  brother-in-law. The victim said that her brother-in-law's eldest son fell down and was injured but instead of taking him to the hospital, she was being blamed for the incident , beaten and accused of being a witch.
