A 17-year-old boy of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-6 has been arrested for raping a girl 16-year-old girl on December 1.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that both of them have a love affair and lodged a complaint after their relatives found out about it. 

According to Baitadi Police Chief and DSP Narayan Prasad Adhikari, they are further investigating incidents.

Earlier, police had arrested six people, including the ward chairman of Sigas Rural Municipality-3, on forcing reconciliation on between perpetrators and rape victim in the village last week.
