Due to erratic power supply since a half month, residents of Jumla staged a protest demanding regular power supply.
They have demanded immediate and regular supply of electricity. The Jumla Electricity and Communication Service Supply Struggle Committee have announced the program of the agitation at a press conference demanding regular supply of electricity.
Civil society leader Mahat said that the people of the district headquarters have been living in darkness for a long time due to the negligence of the Electricity Authority. "We are suffering from poor quality and counterfeit machines being installed by Indian companies," he said.
