Man arrested on the charge of rape and murder of 70-year-old woman in Jhapa

A 70-year-old woman from Jhapa has been murdered after being raped in Arjundhara Rural Municipality-11 of Jhapa on Wednesday night. Police have arrested a 35-year-old Bishal Birja on a charge of raping and killing the elderly woman.
According to Police Inspector Vikash Rai of the Area Police Office, Dhulabari, Bishal confessed the crime after police suspected on him.
According to deceased's relatives, she had been missing since Sunday and had a mental health problems.
Police Inspector Rai informed that further investigation into the incident is underway.
