The All Nepal Industrial Workers' Union (ANIWU) in Birjung-11 demanded an immediate end to discrimination and atrocities against workers as they are being exploited and insecure by both the government and employers.
Pointing out the problem of COVID-19, the workers of Bara, Parsa and other parts of the country protested against the regular reduction of workers and wages by hiring workers through suppliers and non-payment of services as per the agreement.
Participants in the demonstration chanted slogans to show their unity, to reinstate the expelled workers, implement the Labor Act, and implement wage increases. They have handed over a memorandum to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security after the demonstration called by the All Nepal Industrial Workers Union.
