The DAO- Chitwan has taken action against the government cancer hospital (BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital) and Chitwan Medical College for charging Rs. 500 more for PCR test than the charge fixed by the government after they were found guilty during the preliminary investigation.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma, the office had ordered to keep the executive director of the cancer hospital, Dr Dej Kumar Gautam, in custody for further investigation. According to Sharma, Gautam was released on Rs 8 lakh bail along with the order of Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai.
