40-year-old Chhewang Lama of Shey Phoksundo Rural Municipality-4 lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her husband on December 15.
The victim's husband had beat her on December 5 after consuming alcohol without any particular reason. Her right eye, head and left leg were seriously injured from the beating. The victim walked for four days to come to the headquarter to register the complaint.
The police posts in Upper Dolpa were evacuated with the onset of winter, District Police Office said that it will be impossible to walk for four days to arrest the accused.
