Locals stage demonstration in front of Pokhara Metropolitan Office

The new parking system operated by Pokhara Metropolitan City is being disputed. Locals staged a demonstration on December 17 in front of the metropolitan office's gate in the name of ‘Jagaun Nepal Rastriya Abhiyan’ (Wake Up Nepal National Campaign) demanding to stop roadside parking and hourly charges on parking. Participants of the demonstration said that the protest program will continue until they meet the demand.
