Police have arrested 38-year-old Bishnu Khatri, a principal of Sikta Secondary School, Rajpur-7,Dang, on December 22, on a charge of assaulting an 35-year-old teacher Bishal Khatri.

Organizing a press conference on December 22, Khatri said the principal snatched her register and pushed her outside from the classroom on December 20, alleging that she had put red henna on her hair against the rule of school. The victim had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office, Gadhawa, on December 21.

Inspector Rajkumar Bhatta, of Area Police Office, Gadhawa, said they were investigating against the accused by extending investigation time from court.
