Parents padlocked the office of Gyanmarg Secondary School in Gandaki Rural Municipality Ward No. 7 accusing the principal (Tanka Prasad Nepal) and the school management committee of irregularities in the school demanding an immediate investigation into the leak of question papers and principal's resignation. They further expressed their dissatisfaction over corruption in the school, irregularities in the purchase of sticks, lending of school money to individuals and recruitment of their own people as school staff.
Discussions at the school continued till December 28 evening but no conclusion was reached. Parents have warned not to open the school unless their demands are heard.
