Around 60 employees of Kalaiya Hospital in Bara staged a sit-in after shutting down all non-emergency services since January 12 demanding the unpaid risk allowance for working during corona pandemic. They accuse the hospital of not paying them a single penny for the last ten months. The administration of the hospital and other stakeholders were informed on January 10 but no hearing was held.
