Pregnant woman injured in a clash between her ex-husband and current husband

A five-month pregnant woman was injured in a clash between two groups in Dandafya of Simkot Rural Municipality-7 in Humla district on January 16. The dispute took place because the woman had left her ex-husband Dhanraj Shahi got remarried to Umesh Shahi.
Although a settlement was reached after paying Rs 11 lakhs before her second marriage, the ex-husband beat her up when they asked for the receipt of the compensation.
