The ward chairperson of Adanchuli Rural Municipality-1,of Humla has been critically injured in a scuffle. It is learned that Ward Chairman Rag Thapa was hit in the head, mouth, and body after the dispute erupted during a discussion about road construction in Srinagar.
Locals pelted stone on Thapa while he was monitoring the program of Adanchuli Rural Minicipality-1, under the Prime Minister’s Self-Employment Program. Three persons including Ward Chairman Thapa sustained an injury in the incident.
The injured Ward Chairman Thapa, local resident Deepak Thapa, and Macca Thapa are undergoing treatment at the local health post.
