Students of class 8, 9 and 10 studying at Nagwa Secondary School in Birgunj-16 picketed the Birgunj Metropolitan City against the lack of subject teachers in the school amid the upcoming examinations. They complained of not having a science teacher for the past six months, Nepali teacher being transferred as well as not having a teacher for elective accounting in the school that has affected their education.
Chairman of the Teachers Federation Birgunj Binod Mehta said that there is a shortage of teachers not only in Nagwa Secondary School but also in most of the secondary schools in Birgunj.
