Nepal Student Union (NSU) and Tarun Dal, both affiliated to Nepali Congress, set fire to tires and blocked the road in Chainpur, the district headquarters of Bajhang district on January 27, demanding an impartial investigation into the murder incident of Amrit Singh.
Amrit Singh of Chhabispathibhera Rural Municipality Ward No. 3 of Bajhang district was stabbed to death on January 26. While he was returning from the school management committee after the election of Bannichaur Secondary School in Ward No. 3 of Pathibhera Municipality, there was a dispute between the teachers and parents.
