A 20-year-old Dalit woman lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her in-laws at the Area Police Office, Kohalpur on January 27. She got married to 24-year-old Karan Khatri of Raptisonari Rural Municipality-8 but his family did not accept the inter-caste marriage.

So, she had rented a room outside the house for a year and was subjected to physical and mental assault. After her husband became contactless, she has been staying on her mother's house. Police are conducting the search for the accused based on her complaint.
