A group of Janata Samajwadi Party cadres are on a hunger strike at Maitighar since the past three weeks with 52 points demands related to social, economic, educational, and public livelihood.

Previously, they informed the government about their demands. They staged relay hunger strike at Maitighar forming human chains accusing the government of not addressing their demands.

Police have taken them to the Helping Hands hospital from the place of hunger strike. They are continueing the hunger strike in hospital from three weeks.
