Doctors and nurses working at Bheri Hospital Banke were manhandled and mistreated by youths of Gyanendra Shahi group. They had also beaten a physician DR Bipin Acharya who was on a paying duty.

The group arrived at the hospital under the pretext of drawing the attention of the hospital towards the condition of the hospital and the patients' sufferings. Nepal Medical Association, Banke branch has called a meeting on the incident stating that similar incidents have been repeated every day.
