Students block Mahakali Highway in protest of the murder of teenager in Baitadi

Students in Baitadi have been agitated over the rape and murder of 17-year-old Bhagarathi Bhatta, a teenager from Dogada Kedra Rural Municipality-7 of Baitadi. They started a demonstration from the site where Bhatta's body was found and marched towards the market demanding the arrest of the culprit behind the incident. The students also blocked Mahakali highway during the protest.
Bhatta went missing on Feburary 3 while returning home from school and her body was found in the Lakhlek forest near her house on February 4.
