ANNFSU protests in Kathmandu demanding justice for Bhagirathi Bhatta

Student organization of the NCP (Dahal-Nepal) ANNFSU staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala demanding action against the killer of Bhagirathi Bhatta, a 17-year-old girl from Baitadi. Demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Make a law to hang rapists" and "Stop violence against women." Bhatta, a student of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-3 Shrikot based Sanatan Dharma Secondary school was found murdered in Baitadi on Thursday. Police suspected that she was murdered after being raped.
