Group led by Madhyapur municipality mayor stages demonstration demanding conservation of Kamalpokhari

Hundreds of residents of Madhyapur Thimi under the leadership of mayor and coordinator of the Kamalpokhari Conservation Committee Madhyapur Municipality-8 Bodestaged a sit-in at the appellate court in Patan on February 9 against the verdict of the Bhaktapur District Court. They staged the demonstration with placards demanding to save the historic Kamal Pokhari in Bode from encroachment by land mafia.
